Paul Kenneth Dorris, 70, passed away March 5, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.   He was born April 28, 1947, to Adrian Eugene Dorris and Martha Louise Adams Dorris in Water Valley, Miss. He served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a drywall installer.

Kenneth enjoyed anything outdoors, more especially his horses, and had the ability to fix anything that was broken.  He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church.  His daughter and grandchildren were the light of his life.

Visitation was held Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. am at Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley, with funeral services following at 1 a.m.   Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Dorris and her fiance, Trinity Brasseaux of Carencro, La.; two grandchildren, Dylan Hethcoat and Ashlyn Hethcoat, both of Carencro, La.; and one sister, Nancy Gayle Chandler of Water Valley. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of their daughter, Sandra Rivera.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one brother, Shelby Gene Dorris.
