Richard Earl “Ricky” Goodwin, 68, died March 21, 2018, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley.  He was born Aug. 8, 1949 in Water Valley to the late J. B. and Annette Rushing Goodwin. Ricky was a builder and a contractor and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and served as Sunday School Director.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with services to follow at 11 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks.  Bro. Lynn Jones will officiate the service.  Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Yalobusha County.

Ricky is survived by two sons, Jason Goodwin (Ashleigh) of Puckett, Miss., and Randy Goodwin of Water Valley; one brother, Jimmie Goodwin (Kay) of Water Valley, and two grandchildren, Anna Chamblee Goodwin and Leighton Goodwin.
