Pamela Langham “Nana” Hatfield

Pamela Langham “Nana” Hatfield, 67, peacefully passed Monday, April 2, 2018, at her home in Water Valley, Miss.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Bro. Ray Stonestreet will officiate.

Mrs. Hatfield was born in Longtown, Miss., on Oct. 13, 1950, to the late James “Book” Langham and Pauline Nelson Langham. She married her best friend, Wayne Hatfield, on July 12, 1991. Mrs. Hatfield loved spending time with her family and entertaining for the holidays. Mrs. Hatfield was described as the most amazing listener, and she was the best friend a person could ever ask for.

Mrs. Hatfield leaves behind her husband, Wayne Hatfield of Water Valley; two daughters, Gayle (Hickman) Plaisance, and Melissa (Junior Camp) Jennings, both of Water Valley; one son, Kevin (Tania) Hatfield of Oxford; four granddaughters, Courtney (Jarrett) Patton of Courtland, Miss., Kaitlin (Steven) Weldon of Winona, Miss., Morgan Hatfield of Oxford, and Gabby Plaisance of Kenner, La.; four grandsons, Joshua (Morgan) Butler of Sherrills Ford, N.C., Braxton Hatfield of Water Valley, Gavin Hatfield of Oxford, and Hickman Plaisance of Kenner; three great-grandsons, Cohen Trusty of Water Valley, Max Plaisance of Kenner, and Wyatt Patton of Courtland; two brothers Jerry (Gloria) Langham of San Diego, Cali., and William “Wilbo” Langham of Oxford; three sisters, Paulette Palmertree (her twin sister) of Water Valley, Patricia Rushing and Norma Blanton, both of Oxford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hatfield was preceded in death by her parents, James Langham and Pauline Nelson Langham; one son, Todd Hatfield; one sister Jeanette Harris; two brothers, James Michael “Mike” Langham and Thomas “Tommy”  Langham.
