Leetie “Tiny” Gray Varner, 94, died May 16, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Oxford. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 18, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in Browning Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born in Lafayette County, to the late Hubert Doyle and Fannie Ivy Gray, Mrs. Varner was retired from the University of Mississippi Central Duplicating Department where she worked as a clerk.

She was a member of Union West Baptist Church.

She found great pleasure in gardening and working in her yard and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She had a great love for her family and delighted in baking with her granddaughters.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Arthur Varner; sisters, Idell Sansom, Rachel Kisner and Mildred Redding and her brothers, Leland Gray, Elmer Gray, Dwight Gray and Bill Gray.

She is survived by her son, David Varner and his wife, Mona of Madison, Mississippi and granddaughters, Jennifer Varner of Nashville, and Mandy Varner of Madison.
