Margaret T. (Margie) Reeves Gosa, 61, lost her battle with metastatic liver cancer on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Saturday, June 30, 2018, at a location to be determined. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Margie was preceded in death by her partner and the love of her life, Robert Henry; her parents, Noah and Margaret Reeves; two brothers, David and Kenny Reeves, and sister Donna Flanigan.

Remaining to mourn her passing are sisters, Vicki (Ron) Schmidt of Collierville, Tenn., and Terry (James) Hathcock of Millington, Tenn.; nieces Melissa (Kaleo) Mullen of Barlett, Tenn., Karen (Andy) Gibson of Atoka, Tenn., Maria Boudreaux of Valrico, Fla., Vicky (Bobby) Grisby of Bartlett, and Sandy (Dan) Ward of Millington; nephews, James Terry (Pam) Hathcock of Arlington, Tenn., Charles Robert (April) Flanigan, Jr., of Bartlett, Russ (Jessica Tubbs) Schmidt of Collierville, Billy (Sonya) Futrell of Oakland, Tenn., and Cu (Sylva) Ruadh of Ashville, N.C.; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews — all of whom she adored and who adored her.

The family deeply appreciates Margie’s neighbor and dear friend, Gail Nix, who gave great aid and comfort during her illness, as well as numerous long-time treasured friends and extended family who offered support and comfort through this difficult time.

Margie retired from Periodontal Associates of Memphis in 2015, where she was surgical assistant to Dr. P. D. Miller for many years.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the ASPCA (www.aspca.org) or to the World Wildlife Federation (www.support.wordwildlife.org) in Margie’s honor.
