Louisiana three-star safety Tyler Judson commits to Ole Miss

Ole Miss added to its 2019 recruiting class Saturday with a commitment from safety Tyler Judson.

Judson, a consensus three-star prospect out of Zachary (Louisiana) High, announced his commitment with a post to his Twitter account while visiting campus this weekend. Judson picked Ole Miss over offers from Houston and Baylor among others.

The 6-foot, 187-pound Judson is the rated as Louisiana’s No. 52 prospect and the nation’s No. 119 safety in the 247Sports.com composite rankings. He’s the second safety pledge in the class, joining Tupelo’s Tavario Standifer. Brandon safety Jay Stanley decommitted from Ole Miss on Saturday.

Judson is the 12th commitment in the Rebels’ class, which is ranked sixth in the SEC and 15th nationally in the 247Sports composite.
