Ole Miss’ run on offensive tackles continued Monday with a commitment from Georgia product Reece McIntyre.

McIntyre, a lineman at Buford High, announced his verbal pledge with a post to his Twitter account. McIntyre chose the Rebels over offers from Florida, Arkansas, N.C. State and others.

McIntyre is the 19th commitment in Ole Miss’ 2019 recruiting class and the fifth offensive linemen. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder is the fourth tackle to commit to the Rebels in the last 12 days, though Nanih Waiya Attendance Center’s Caleb Warren is projected to play guard at the next level.

The teammate of fellow Ole Miss commitment Carter Colquitt, McIntyre is a consensus-three star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 68 offensive tackle and the 75th-best recruit in Georgia in the 247Sports.com composite ratings. McIntyre’s commitment moved Ole Miss’ class to 15th nationally and seventh in the SEC in the 247Sports composite.
