Como man arrested for felony DUI

- On Saturday, June 30, 2018 at approximately 7:32 PM, the Oxford Police Department received a 911 call about a possible intoxicated individual who was about to leave the Square. Officers located the vehicle driving on South Lamar and conducted a traffic stop after the driver, Bryan Martin (54 of Como, MS) did a traffic violation. A DUI investigation was conducted on Martin at that time. During the stop officers learned that Martin had at least three prior DUI convictions. Martin was subsequently arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for DUI 4th, careless driving, and no driver’s license. He was given a bond of $10,500 by a Justice Court Judge.

OPD officers located the vehicle on South Lamar Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop after Martin made a traffic violation. Officers launched a DUI investigation, during which they learned he had at least three prior DUI convictions.
Martin was subsequently arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for DUI 4th, careless driving and no driver’s license. He was given a bond of $10,500 by a Justice Court Judge.
