Herman “Buddy” Wagner, 95, formerly of Oxford, passed away Aug. 12, 2018.

He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, member of the American Legion and VFW. He was an active member of the Lutheran Church and helped to establish Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Corinth, Miss.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Wagner and son, Mark Richard Wagner. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Matthews (Allen) of Hernando and sister, Pauline Kuydreko of Glendale, Ariz. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8089 Highway 51, Southaven, MS 38671.
