Willie Walker Owens, 88, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Baptist Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.  He was born July 15, 1930, in Water Valley, Miss. He was a member of Martin Street Church of Christ in Water Valley.

Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at noon at Martin Street Church of Christ with two hours of visitation prior to service. Seven Oaks Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

He leaves two sons, James Owens of Water Valley and Bobby Owens of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, one brother and nine grandchildren.
