William Lipscomb of Water Valley, 85, died Aug. 24, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. William was a member of First Baptist Church.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later time.  Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughters, Barbara (Ron) Durdin, Donna (Brian) Lund, Zandra Goolsby and Cynthia Lipscomb; sons, James (Sue) Lipscomb Thomas Lipscomb; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Lipscomb.
