Aileen Sanders Johnson, 69, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at her home. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Miss. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Brandon First United Methodist Church with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens.

Aileen was raised in Oxford. She graduated from the University of Mississippi where she received her bachelor’s degree in education. She taught Middle School at Jackson Public Schools for 31 years. After she retired she started working at Home Depot and worked there for 17 years.

Mrs. Johnson loved her family especially her grandchildren, she always enjoyed cooking for the family.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Johnson; children, Christopher Eric (Kori) Johnson, Tyler DuVall (Amanda) Johnson and Lindsey Johnson (Cole) Harris; grandchildren, Declan Johnson, Tierney Johnson, Fallyn Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Jonah Johnson, Harper Harris and Oliver Harris; and her siblings, Lamar Sanders, Sara Sanders Smith and Robert Hal Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hal Sanders and Janie Marguerite Lamar Sanders.
