Richard Vaughn Tidwell, 62, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, in Water Valley. He was born Aug. 9, 1956, in Taylor, Miss. to the late Carl and Myrtle Tidwell.

The family will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Sand Hill Church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Danielle Tidwell (Beau), Deniese (Corey) Combs and A.J. (Jimmy) Tutor of Water Valley; two sisters, Lottie Knighton and Joanie Rodgers; five grandchildren and girlfriend Veronica Lindsey.
