Mr. Otto Puttman, 87, passed away, Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at his home in Oxford. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, from 5. to 7 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford.

Mr. Puttman was born in Vienna, Austria. He traveled to the U.S. in 1950, where he met his wife of 40 years, Ann Marie Puttman. Mr. Puttman dedicated 60 years of his life to becoming a master cabinet maker. He also became a well-established bread maker when he and his wife moved to Oxford 12 years ago. Being a survivor of the Holocaust, his legacy was that having been a victim once, he will never be a victim again. That, in itself, speaks volumes to who Mr. Puttman was.

Mr. Puttman is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Puttman of Oxford; one son, Andrew (Jannet Pena) Puttman of Boynton Beach, Fla.; three grandsons, Matthew Puttman of Philadelphia, Pa. and Camilo Garcia and Christian Garcia, both of Boynton Beach and a host of nieces and nephews.
