Mr. Joe Donald Moss, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019,  at his home in the Pine Flat community. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at 2 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moss was born in Laurel, Mississippi. He was a God-fearing man who loved his Ole Miss Rebels. Mr. Moss supported all Ole Miss sporting events. He was also member of the Ole Miss Quarterback Club, the Rebel Bullpen Club, and the Ole Miss Loyalty Foundation.  He was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and North Oxford Baptist Church.

Mr. Moss is survived by his wife, Mary Moss of Pine Flat, Mississippi; two daughters, Donna Jo (Rob) Boyd of Pine Flat, and Debra Lee Morrison of Mantachie, Mississo[[o; three granddaughters, Mary Emma Boyd of Pine Flat, and Shelby Morrison and Jade Gordon, both of Mantachie; two grandsons, Trae Boyd and Beau Boyd, both of Pine Flat; one brother, Jerry (Margaret) Moss of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
