Obituary – Ruth Lee Ingram Mims

Ruth Lee Ingram Mims, 90, died on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital.  She was born in Money, Mississippi, to the late Burris and Nancy Jane Ingram. She lived in Greenwood, Mississippi, for most of her life.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing and listening to Church hymns. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Ruth was married for 40 years to the late Ben F. Mims.

Services for Mrs. Mims will be held Friday, Feb. 15, 2019,  at 11a.m. at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood.

Mrs. Mims is survived by her four sons; Danny Mixon of Greenwood, John Mixon (Karen) of Oxford, Mississippi, Jeff Mixon (Shirley) of Winona, Mississippi, and Billy Frank Mims (Brenda) of Alabaster, Alabama; one sister, Lenna Jackson of Greenwood; two granddaughters, Kelly M. Dockham of Raleigh, North Caroline, and Katie A. Mixon of Nashville, Tennessee; and a great granddaughter, Charlotte Kelly Dockham

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. till 11 a.m. at Wilson and Knight. Rev. Randy Clayton will officiate. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
