Obituary – Teresa Lynn Holden Shettles

Teresa Lynn Holden Shettles, 58, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at her home in Etta, Mississippi. She was born March 23, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Alton Dean Holden and Earnestine Gafford Holden. She was a self-employed cosmetologist for over thirty years. She loved to sing and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She and her husband, Bobby, were very involved in travel with Ugandan Ministries. She loved God and loved people.
Visitation will be at Macedonia Baptist Church on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Irvin and Bro. David Grumbach officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Bobby Shettles; her parents, Alton and Earnestine Holden; a daughter, Brittany Roberson (Will); three sons, Todd Shettles (Michelle), Kurt Shettles (Jane Clair) and Bubba Greer (Lindsay); one sister, Mona Weeden; one brother, Terry Holden; and 11 grandchildren: Morrisa, Malana, Sally Grace, Gray, Mamie, Lily, Chanler, Zayne, Cherish, Addi and Maggie.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Harkness, Austin Harkness, Gray Shettles, Zayne Fleener, Chanler Fleener, Justin Rollins, Cliff Jackson and Scotty Shettles.
