Barbara Newman, 77, of Water Valley, Mississippi, died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Feb.  3, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late William and Ruth Milstead Campbell and worked 33 years for Borg Warner in Water Valley. 

Visitation was Friday, February 22, 2019, at First Baptist Church. Services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Seven Oaks Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
