Obituary – Steven Wood Couch

Steven Wood Couch, 58, of Grenada, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.  He was born March 10, 1960, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to Joe and Lanelle Wood Couch.  Steve was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Grenada and had worked for many years with his family at Couch Realty as a Professional Commercial and Residential Appraiser.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 12 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Rev. Eugene Heimbach officiating.  Private burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Heath Couch; one daughter, Allison Frazier(Will) of Memphis, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Lila and Mary Frazier, both of Memphis; Austin Vance of Oxford, Mississippi; two brothers, Billy Joe Couch of Memphis and Jimmy Couch of Scobey, Mississippi; and his father and mother in-law, Bobby and Jewel Heath; sister-in-law, Debbie Hankins (Lee); uncle, Sykes Wood; aunt, Charlene Edmondson; and cousins, Sue Ann Edmondson Teer, Anita Jo Wood Byrd,  and Leta Wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a cousin, Janet Edmondson Kinsey.

Pallbearers will be Chris Couch, Abbott Hankins, Joe Hankins, Sidney Martin, Jaxon Moore and Austin Vance.
