Joan Robinson, 83, of Grenada, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Grenada. She was born September 29, 1935, to Guy Wooten and Georgia Mae Johnson Rikard. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a former supervisor for Pennaco Hosiery Mill. She loved to work in the yard and in her flower bed.  She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lana Jolie and Liam Stephen Yopp.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. at McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Survivors include one son, Randy Sutton (Tammie), of Grenada; six grandchildren, Kelly Yopp (Stephen), D.J. Sutton, Courtney Paige Lane, Russell Hoskins, Amanda Hoskins, and Jerimiah Gilbert; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maurice Robinson; son, Chip Sutton and daughter-in-law, Cindy, and a brother, James Phillip Rikard.
