Anthony Ward Pulliam, 75, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daryl Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery in Oxford, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the West Hall at Waller Funeral Home.

 Born in Oxford to the late Robert Ward and Margaret Reeder Pulliam, Mr. Pulliam was the owner of Oxford Fence Company and East Hill Pools and was a Commercial Appeal Newspaper distributor.  He was an avid Ole Miss fan and enjoyed working in his yard.

 Mr. Pulliam is survived by his wife, Claire Pulliam of Oxford; daughter, Leigh Pulliam Laughter of Oxford; son, Drs. Ward Pulliam and his wife, Melissa, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; sister, Nita Vaughn and her husband Dave of Roxboro, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kirkland Ward Laughter of Jackson, Mississippi,  and Kaelynn Grace Pulliam of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews.
