Ssgt. Gerald Stanley Lindsey, 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 12, 2019, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer with his wife by his side. His son, George, remained faithfully by his Dad’s side until the end, Gerald was from Tula, Mississippi.  He was married to his wife, Sally (Hudson), for over 59 years.

Gerald served his country in the United States Air Force and National Guard for 12 years. After service, he moved his family to California where he went to work on a fruit ranch and remained there for the next 21 years. Gerald loved God and his family.

He is survived by a brother, Ronald Lindsey, of Tula; five children Richard, Sandra, George, David, and Dean all of Bakersfield, California.  Services are planned for Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Bakersfield.
