Kayla Brooke Gandy, 25, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at her home in Paris, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. also at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Kingdom Cemetery (CR 443, Oxford, MS 38655). Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Gandy was described as an extremely family oriented person. She loved her family very much and always enjoyed spending time with them. Ms. Gandy also held a special place in her heart for animals. She was known to have a very creative mind, and enjoyed art and painting in her free time.

Ms. Gandy is survived by her mother, Stephanie (Chris) Carwile of Water Valley, Mississippi; her father, Jeff (Terri) Gandy of Paris; one brother, Nason Johnson of Grenada, Mississippi; three sisters, Kasie Parks of Oxford, Mississippi, Kalyn Parks of Paris, and Addi Grace Carwile of Water Valley; two grandfathers, Dean “Butch” Gandy of Paris, and Danny “Pete” Foster of Tula, Mississippi; one grandmother, Clara (Jimmy) Thomas of Bruce, Mississippi; three uncles, Joe (Cynthia) Gandy of Hermitage, Tennessee, Cain (Kellie) Foster of Paris, and Brian (Tammy) Thomas of Pontotoc, Mississippi; and one aunt, Courtney (Josh) Avent of Yocona, Mississippi. Ms. Gandy was preceded in death by one grandmother, Carol Jean Gandy.
