Willie Ray Tidwell, 55, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his home in Oxford. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Bro. David Ard will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Tidwell was born in Water Valley, Miss. He was known to be an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Tidwell was also described as an extremely hard worker. He enjoyed logging, woodworking, and fishing.

Mr. Tidwell is survived by his mother, Nellie Houston, of Oxford; his sister, Kathy (David) Rhines, of Oxford; his brother, Jeffery (Leslie) Houston, of Oxford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
