Cause of death revealed in the murder of Ally Kostial

: Alexandria 'Ally' Kostial, a student at the University of Mississippi, was murdered in July 2019. Court convicted her boyfriend and fellow student Brandon Theesfield of her murder. The preliminary autopsy report is back, and it was confirmed that Ally Kostial died from “multiple gunshot wounds.”

The manner of death was officially ruled a homicide.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department released the preliminary results on Wednesday afternoon.

Brandon Theesfeld, 22, of Forth Worth, Texas, is currently booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center and facing a murder charge. He is still awaiting a bail hearing, which will take place once his attorney files a motion for one.
