Mary Rachel Smith Walker, 94, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Oxford Health & Rehab in Oxford. She will be buried in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in McNairy County, Tenn., to Robert and Beatrice Grimms Smith, Mary was the owner and operator of the Vogue Hair Fashion Salon. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ernest Walker. She is survived by her brother, Billy Carroll Smith, of Oxford and many nieces and nephews.
