Barry Jones Schmitz, 53, of Water Valley, Miss., died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.  He was born September 10, 1965, in Water Valley to the late Whittaker and Ann (Jones) Schmitz. He worked at many different jobs during his career including being an EMT and a school bus driver.

Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Services were at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks and Bro. Stoney Moorehead officiated.
