Week Two Mississippi Prep Poll: Shakeups in top-10

The Associated Press released its week two edition of the Mississippi high school football polls on Wednesday, as voted by various media members throughout the state. As with week one, both Oxford and Lafayette landed in the top-10 schools in the state, with Water Valley appearing in the top 5 of the Class 3A ranks.

The Chargers lost to No. 4 Starkville last Friday night, while Lafayette hung on to beat Southaven. Water Valley played their first home game since winning the 2018 state championship last week, beating up on North Pontotoc.
