An Oxford male is in custody for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to a complaint about an 18-year-old male at a residence. They are not releasing the address at this time. The complaint was about the male having a relationship with a 15-year-old.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Lafayette County investigators arrested Yordi Martinez Artica, of Oxford, and charged him with touching a child for lustful purpose. Artica is currently being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center and does not have a bond at this time.
