John Randall “Randy” Montgomery, 57, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at his home in Batesville, Miss.  The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m.

Randy worked as a shift supervisor in the vinyl siding industry.  He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed taking care of his dogs and spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Montgomery Mitchell, and her husband, Michael, of Early, Texas; a son, Tony Montgomery, of Early; a sister, Tonya Fogarty, of Hernando, Miss.; two brothers, Richard Lee Montgomery, and his wife, Kay, of Cypress, Texas, and Bobby Gene Montgomery, Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Sardis, Miss.; three grandchildren, John Anthony Montgomery, Ethan Lynn Mitchell, and Aiden Lee Mitchell all of Early, and numerous nieces and nephews.
