Calvin Miles Hollowell, 87, of West Point, Miss., died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, Miss.  He was born April 25, 1932, in the London Hill Community of Lafayette County, Miss. Calvin worked his entire career as a shipping clerk for the Big Yank Corp, starting in the Water Valley facility and later moving to West Point. He enjoyed all kinds of hunting and fishing.

A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at Pinecrest cemetery in Water Valley, with Brother Raymond Aven officiating.
