Ira Sue Huckaby Wilkinson, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at her home in Oxford.  

 

The funeral service will be Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. David Wilkinson and Rev. Jeffrey Taylor officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held in Yellow Leaf Cemetery.  Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

She was an avid and accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crocheting.  She also enjoyed gardening.  Mrs. Sue was a retired Assistant Supervisor from Northeast Electric Power Association, retiring after 24 years. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Wayne Wilkinson. She is survived by her two daughters, Pene Russell, and her husband, Steven, and Kathleen Taylor, and her husband, Jeff; three sons, Tony Wilkinson, and his wife, Melody, David Wilkinson, and his wife, Allyson, of Oxford, Al Wilkinson, and his wife, Kaitlin, of Saltillo, Miss.; and sister, Sandra Wilkinson, and her husband, Myron, of Oxford. She especially loved her sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
