Charles Edward Babb, 78, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Paris Baptist Church (30 CR 430, Bruce, MS 38915). A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., also at Paris Baptist Church. Interment will be at Paris Cemetery (CR 428, Paris, MS 38949). Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Babb always enjoyed traveling with his wife as much as possible. They also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. His pride and joy have always been all of his family. 

Mr. Babb was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Babb. He is survived by three daughters, Brenda J.  Smith, of Drummonds, Tenn., Lynda (Mickey) Rook, of Memphis, Tenn., and Lori Glessing, of West Memphis, Ark.; three sons, Bryan Keith (Lisa) Babb, of Covington, Tenn., and Darriell Babb and Joe Babb, both of Millington, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
