A man fell from a water tower being constructed behind the Oxford Kroger on Tuesday morning.

Oxford Mayor Robyn Tannehill confirmed to the EAGLE that it was a contractor employed by the construction company working on the water tower.

The man fell roughly 60 feet and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, according to Tannehill.
