Marjorie Jean Barton Green, 93, of Water Valley, Miss., died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at her home. She was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Vance, Miss., to the late Robert Eugene Barton and Ophelia Purdy Barton Fly.

Visitation is planned for Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Services will follow at 11:30 p.m. with Bro. Hal Clark officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Eric Green, Brandon Green, Craig Hart, Bill “Duck” Holloway, Jimmy Holloway, and Bilbo Samuels serving as pallbearers. Seven Oaks is in charge of arrangements.
