Karsen Cosby the first baby born in 2020 in Oxford

Oxford’s first birth of 2020 took place on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Karsen Cosby was born at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi on Wednesday at 11:33 a.m., weighing eight pounds, nine ounces and measuring in height at 21 inches long. Crosby was delivered by Dr. Sam Cole.

Cosby’s mother, Latricia Holland, and father, Pierre Cosby, received a gift from the hospital for having the first baby born in the new year and new decade.
