An Oxford woman who rented a car and did not return it is facing embezzlement charges.

On Jan. 28, officers with the Oxford Police Department took a report from Enterprise Rent-A-Car about a vehicle that was rented and had not been returned. The person who rented it was identified as Janeice Cohran, 33.

Enterprise signed charges for embezzlement under contract on Cohran, who was arrested on Feb. 1 and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center. She was given a bond of $2,500 and the vehicle was returned to Enterprise.
