Two Lady Chargers and two Lady Commodores participated in last weekend’s Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star soccer game, and one of them walked away as the game’s Most Valuable Player.

Lafayette’s Bayleigh Moore and Anna Kate Trost and Oxford’s Maria Jones and Kathleen Myers all participated in the 2020 All-Star game, which took place at Brandon High School. Myers, spearheading a 4-0 win for the North team, was named the offensive MVP of the outing.

The four seniors, rivals during their years playing high school soccer and now playing together coached by Corinth’s Cameron Glenn, helped lead a dominant performance by the North team.

Trost, in goal, didn’t miss a block. Moore and Jones played together on a defensive backline and Myers led the offense, all to a shutout 4-0 performance to end their high school soccer careers.
