On October 25, 2021, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report regarding two bicycles being stolen.

After investigation, Ashley Horton, 37, of Tupelo, was charged with two counts of Grand Larceny.

On February 10, 2022, Horton was taken into custody and went before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for an initial bond hearing and was given a $20,000 bond.
