Paragon Bank moves to new location, new building

Impressive 6,500 square foot building opened
Paragon Bank has opened its new Banking Center in Oxford on Sept. 18 at 2401 South Lamar Blvd. The bank is headquartered in Memphis, and was founded in 2005.
Branch president Kin Kinney highlighted several key hires.

“Quentin Brewer, Vice-President of Private Banking, joined us a year and a half ago after a career of 16 years with BancorpSouth, and he has a wealth of experience,” Kinney said. “Helean Davis joined us as our Assistant Vice-President and Banking Center Manager after 28 years with Renasant Bank. Andrea Rutherford serves as our Senior Mortgage Loan Officer with 15-years of mortgage lending experience, and Holly Webster joined us recently
and has with five years of banking experience here in Oxford. In total, we have nearly 120 years of local banking experience.”
He said the collective years of experience held by his staff at the Oxford branch will lend itself to serving the community more effectively. “We have a wonderful building. But at the end of the day, the people make all the difference,” Kinney said.
The new Paragon Bank Banking Center has nearly 6,500 square feet. The general contractor was JP Corp of Oxford and the building was designed by Chris Stine of Design Collaborative. Jeff Williams of Williams Engineering served as the civil engineer and Brit Boatright of Structure First served as the bank’s project manager.
“Robert Shaw, Paragon Bank’s CEO and I spent a lot of time talking about not only how we provide a great customer experience, but how we highlight our brand. Paragon means excellence, and we have a brand that represents excellence,” Kinney said.
The second floor of the building features a Community Room and Community Deck which we will use to host customer and community events, staff training and meetings and are both are available for use by non-profit groups.”
