A year ago on July 21, 2023, former Ole Miss football standout KD Hill’s life changed forever when he lost his leg in a vehicle wreck.
However, Hill has spent the last year healing and using his experience and faith to heal others.
During his days at Ole Miss, Hill was a regular sight at Oxford Housing Authority neighborhoods, spending time with the kids, tossing footballs and chatting about life.
This Saturday, he returns to Oxford to host a special day for the children of the OHA.
The KD’s Fun Day Oxford will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Avent Park. The free event is just one of many that Hill has planned through his KD Hill Foundation which he started earlier this year.
There will be food, music, snow cones, games, face painting and more.
There will be transportation available from the OHA neighborhoods to Avent Park.
Officially launched as a 501c3 organization, The KD Hill Foundation aims to help and support communities across the United States, and eventually the world. Hill wants to support and be hands-on with the youth, single mothers, as well as the homeless.
Donations to the KD Hill Foundation can be sent through PayPal to Info@TheKDHill.com.
