The Oxford-Lafayette Chamber of Commerce has officially opened applications for the 2025 Leadership Lafayette class, inviting community members with a passion for leadership and local impact to apply.

The program, a cornerstone in cultivating leaders across Lafayette County, offers participants a unique blend of hands-on leadership training, exposure to local assets, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Leadership Lafayette is an immersive, eight-month journey from January through August each year. Participants will attend all-day training sessions once a month, typically on the first Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to develop strategic leadership skills and learn more about Lafayette County’s resources and pressing issues. Beyond these sessions, participants will work in teams on community-based projects designed to address real local challenges, leaving a lasting impact on the Lafayette-Oxford-University community.
