The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help to locate a man suspected of shooting someone in the leg.

According to a post on social media, deputies responded to Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi on Saturday about a patient who came into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg.

After an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Xikeious “Zack” Southern. He is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators are asking for any information leading to the whereabouts and arrest of Southern.

According to Southern’s Facebook page, he graduated from Lafayette High and his current address is listed as Nashville.

The Lafayette Oxford University Crime Stoppers has pledged up to a $2000 reward for any information leading to Southern’s arrest.
