Lynn Ann Jenkins

Lynn Ann Jenkins, 68, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford after a brief illness. There are no plans for a funeral service. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, she had lived the majority of her life in the Oxford area. She was a retired manager with the Mr. Jiffy Store/Quickstop. Being outdoors and working in her yard were things that she enjoyed. She was an animal lover, especially her three dogs, Addy, Harley and Bailey. She was especially proud of her granddaughter, Amber.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha “Marty” Savage, and brother, Johnny Mac McLarty.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Bishop of Oxford; son, David Scott McLarty of Oxford; two sisters, Kaye Palm of Alabama and Sherry Young of Oxford; and one granddaughter.
