— Disorderly conduct, possession of a fake ID and smoking on campus violation

Oxford Fire Department
Firefighters responded to the following calls:
— Duct detector malfunction at 8:29 a.m. at the University Tennis Facility; no fire
— Smell of wires burning reported at 12:07 p.m. at the YMCA; exercise bike shorted out
— Smoke detector malfunction at 12:49 p.m. at the Student Union on campus; no fire
— Cutting sheet rock activated a smoke detector at 1:21 p.m. at 404 Cherokee Drive; no fire
— Steam activated a smoke detector at 4:17 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi; no fire
Lafayette County Fire
Firefighters responded to a car fire at 6:24 p.m. on Highway 6 and extinguished the blaze.
