Southland treated customer right

In April 2015, while our daughter was stopped in traffic, her car was rear-ended by an Oxford police officer. It was a very serious accident but thankfully, she was not seriously hurt; he, however, was knocked unconscious and transported to the local hospital.

We immediately drove to Oxford to check on her. Before we left Oxford that afternoon, we took her vehicle to get a repair estimate. Several people referred us to Southland Body Shop, and it’s easy to understand why they would be so highly recommended. They were incredible, to say the least.

When the insurance company wanted to cut corners by incorporating a used part into the job, Ronnie at Southland Body Shop told us we would have to take our vehicle elsewhere, as they didn’t do that kind of work. This particular part in question needed to be replaced with a new part only. Ronnie told us that Southland’s name was on this job, and that it would be done correctly, or not at all by Southland. We so appreciated his honesty and concern, because the vehicle was eventually totaled due to the total cost of repairs.

Oxford should be extremely proud to have such a fine body shop in your community. Southland Body Shop is truly focused on customer service and making sure that customers’ vehicles are repaired correctly.

As parents of a student who graduated from Ole Miss in May, we were very thankful to have had Southland’s years of experience and input about what to do with her vehicle. Before we found out her vehicle was going to be totaled, we had decided we were going to leave the car in Oxford, because we felt total peace about having her vehicle repaired there. I wish we had a Southland Body Shop in our hometown!
