OXFORD — Betty A. Jones Cooper, 89, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at her home in Oxford. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Eastern Cemetery in Forest, with the Rev. Reggie Tatum officiating.

Born in Caruthersville, Missouri, she was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of Oxford-University United Methodist Church and held a great love for art.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamelia Barnett of Burbank, California; her sons, Jones Deady of Underhill, Vermont and Jackson Ball of Panama; and seven grandchildren.
