Law firm adds Morton to Oxford office

Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh recently announced the new addition of Emily Morton to the firm’s Oxford office as an associate attorney. Morton focuses her legal practice in the areas of real estate and corporate law.
Morton is a recent graduate of The University of Mississippi School of Law where she also earned her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and minor in classical studies. She was also the sole recipient of the Howard Stone Scholarship.
Prior to Harris Shelton, Morton held a clerkship with a real estate firm in Oxford while attending law school. In addition, she interned with the Wider Opportunities for Women public interest group in Washington, D.C., and in U.S. Sen. Bob Corker’s Memphis office.
