OXFORD — Juanita Hutchins Pegues, 74, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at her residence in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at North Oxford Baptist Church with evangelist Essie Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with family hour from 5-7 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was a retired assembly worker for Emerson Electronic and member of Calvary Hill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pegues.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Bond of Oxford; son, Wayne Pegues of Oxford; sister, Bernessa Pearson of Tupelo; two brothers, Bobby Hutchins and Johnny Hutchins, both of Oxford; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
