WATERFORD — William “Bill” Oliver Lawrence, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at his home in Waterford. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Estes officiating.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he had lived in the Waterford area for 26 years. He was a retired truck driver with Ozark. Working outdoors with his cows, gardening, welding, building and fixing things were activities he enjoyed. A gifted musician, he enjoyed many types of music, especially jazz. He played the piano, saxophone and guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Rae Lawrence of Waterford; son, Jeffery Lawrence of Horn Lake; daughter, Jennifer Allison of Southaven; and sister, Joyce Adair of Vero Beach, Florida.
